New York Knicks: 5 Potential Landing Spots For Brandon Jennings

Utah Jazz

The Jazz has one of the deepest teams in the NBA. On paper, they look good in the backcourt. George Hill is a steady starter, they have 2014 first round pick Dante Exum, and Shelvin Mack. But, the Jazz has been disappointed in the play of Exum and Mack.

Utah has tried Alec Burks at point guard this season to try and shake things up. They were interested in bringing back Deron Williams prior to the trade deadline when the Dallas Mavericks made him available. Talks did not progress very far, as Williams remained with the Mavericks before being bought out and is on his way to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After missing out on Williams, the Jazz could look to add Jennings to bolster their backcourt. There has been no indication that they are out of the point guard market, as they could insert Jennings into whatever plans they have for Williams.

With how poorly Exum and Mack have played this season Jennings would be a clear upgrade. He would help take pressure off of Hill and allow the Jazz to move Burks back to the slashing role he excels in. Jennings would provide good insurance as well for Hill, who has missed 25 games this season.
