The New York Knicks were busy on Monday. They played the Toronto Raptors on Monday night, but before that, they made some moves and broke some news with the roster.

Earlier in the day, the Knicks announced that starting center Joakim Noah would be undergoing surgery on his knee. The surgery and subsequent recovery will probably keep Noah sidelined for the remainder of the season.

In addition to that, the Knicks announced that they had waived point guard Brandon Jennings. It was a surprising move, as the Knicks elected to hang onto Jennings through the trade deadline; if they knew they were going to waive him why not try getting even a second round pick in return for him?

Jennings is looking to play for a contending team and the Knicks are not that. He had hoped that they would be, but they have fallen short of those expectations. Jennings was one of the few players willing to hold teammates accountable and played well for the Knicks at times. He was happy to finally play for the Knicks, the team he hoped would have selected him in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Jennings had to wait a few years to become a Knick, but it was not all that he had hoped for. He will soon be a free agent and will have a chance to play a contender like he wants. Where may he end up? Here are five potential landing spots for Jennings once he clears waivers.
