Dallas Cowboys

I know I know… I hate it too, but as much as it pains me to say it, Cruz could very easily be a Cowboy next season. The Cowboys have a good core of youth, multiple offensive stars, and a quarterback that won Rookie of the Year.

The Dallas defense played better than most people thought they would, and it offers the possibility of winning a championship. Cruz is a homegrown boy out of New Jersey, but where the money lies, a player is going to go. Rivalry, for the most part, is built up by the fans. Cruz will play for the Cowboys if it means he will make money for a few more years.

It’s hard to face facts, but Dallas should be good for a long time. They are going to fight for the top of the NFC for a few years, and Cruz won’t have to be an every-down receiver. He can play a minimal amount of snaps and definitely have a big impact at a low volume.

Like it or not Giants fans, we could be seeing Cruz twice a year. It’s going to be tough to get over, but if he ever does the salsa for Dallas, Giants fans everywhere will feel their hearts break.
