4.) Kamar Aiken

Another solid option for the Giants in free agency would be Kamar Aiken of the Baltimore Ravens.

Aiken went undrafted out of college, but like Cruz, he has been able to make a nice career for himself. In his first season in 2014, Aiken totaled 24 receptions, 267 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. While those numbers don’t jump off the page, it was decent production for an undrafted player.

In 2015, Aiken was able to have his breakout season for the Ravens. Due to injuries, Aiken became the No.1 target in Baltimore. He was able to set career-highs with 75 receptions, 944 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns. In addition to the 75 receptions, Aiken was targeted 127 times that season.

After the great 2015 season, 2016 was a let down for Aiken. Due to the return of some injured players, Aiken wasn’t featured in the offense nearly as much. In 2016, Aiken totaled 29 receptions, 328 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. Compared to the 127 targets Aiken had in 2015, he went down to just 50 in 2016.

Even though it was a down season for Aiken statistically, he was just removed from a big year in 2015. Aiken likely wouldn’t cost the Giants much, and he has proven to be a solid wide receiver in the NFL.
