Round 4: Avery Gennesy: OT: Texas A&M

The Jets need to improve the offensive line. While this draft doesn’t have high-end talent at the top of the draft, there are some solid prospects the Jets can find on day three.

Gennesy is a rare combo of size and athleticism, but his inconsistency and stiffness has led to problems in his pass protection. However, great athleticism and size and a hard combo to find to playing the tackle position. Gennesy could compete for a starting role or at the very least would have value as a swing tackle or guard in terms of depth on the offensive line.

With the Jets looking to address the tackle positions in the offseason, this could be a pick that could possibly fill one of those holes.
