Jackson’s Social Media Antics Are Embarrassing

While trading Anthony has proved to be a tough task, Jackson is making it even harder on the Knicks by commenting about Anthony on social media.

On Tuesday, Jackson commented via twitter about an article written by Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding.

What exactly is Jackson saying here? That’s anyone’s guess; however, the article he’s referring to is a negatively written article concerning Anthony. By saying he “almost hits it on the spot” Jackson appears to be agreeing with the negative piece on his player. Jackson would put out another tweet concerning this matter in repose to the criticism he received regarding his previous tweet.

What kind of mind game is Jackson playing here? Yet again, he puts out a tweet that no one can understand because he’s hiding how he really feels and then giving a teaser of his thoughts through social media. The bigger problem here though is why he is actually using social media?

When have you ever heard of a team president or even a general manager going onto social media and discussing his own players? It’s unheard of. What Jackson should be doing is addressing the media in regards to his players which is what he’s supposed to be doing.

Also, when you’re getting paid $12 million a year in an executive position, you should be a lot more cooperative in regards to doing your job. Hiding behind your twitter feed, and not going to road games is doing the opposite, and is making him look like a fool.

More importantly, he’s making the Knicks look bad as an organization. It’s gone on for far too long, and team owner James Dolan needs to step up and fire the man.
