Number Four: Garett Bolles, Offensive Tackle, Utah

Bolles comes out of Utah after playing just one season with the Utes, but boy was it a good one. He transferred from a junior college to play at Utah, and the 6’5” junior showed tremendous poise at the tackle position.

At 300 pounds Bolles is hard to move off of the line but has a great deal of athleticism for a man of his stature. One of his best traits that many scouts have noticed about Bolles is his footwork. He very rarely got beat off the end this season, and it’s because of his raw strength and quick feet.

The other thing Bolles brings to the table is his durability. Bolles played 891 snaps for the Utes, which ranked third on the team. In his single season, he was named first-team All-PAC 12. The Giants would love a guy like Bolles on the outside of their line because he just has all of the intangibles to become a great tackle in the NFL.

Bolles has been projected to go late in the first round. He could very easily fall into New York’s lap, and if the guys ahead of him on this list aren’t there, Big Blue won’t hesitate to take the Lehi, Utah native.
