Anthony’s Time In New York Appears Over

Carmelo Anthony has been the face of the New York Knicks throughout his entire tenure with them. His time appears to be coming to an end though. Team president Phil Jackson and the Knicks appear ready to give the keys of the franchise to Kristaps Porzingis.

The problem though is that Anthony doesn’t have a lot of value on the trade market due to his complicated contract which includes a no-trade clause. The Clippers do appear interested in a deal. While they’re unwilling to deal one of their superstars, a deal for some of their role players could prove to be a blessing for the Knicks.
