Round 5: Dan Skipper; Offensive Tackle, Arkansas

The Giants need offensive linemen and Skipper could be a steal here in the draft. He started all 12 games as a senior at the left tackle spot but has played right tackle in his college career as well.

Skipper never missed a start for the Razorbacks which shows he has the durability to possibly be a long-term answer on the offensive line. At 6-feet-9 inches, he’s the tallest offensive lineman in the draft, but his size has sometimes made it difficult for Skipper to block smaller and faster edge rushers.

While he may not be a long-term answer at left tackle, the ability to play both tackle positions and possibly inside at guard make Skipper and enticing prospect that could be a future starter but will at least provide solid depth for a unit that was hit hard by injuries in 2016.
