Victor Cruz has been a mainstay for the New York Giants for the good part of six years, but recently there has been speculation that Cruz won’t be coming back to New York next season.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz himself has said that New York is his home, and that he doesn’t want to leave, but the NFL is a business.

The NFL has experienced an endless revolving door of wide receivers, and Cruz might be finding himself on the way out. With young talent and depth at the wide out position the Giants have to make a decision this offseason whether or not to keep the Patterson, NJ native.

There are positives and negatives for bringing back the wily veteran, but the decision has to be made thinking of the Giants future at the wide out position. Giants fans know what Cruz has done, but recently he has been plagued by injuries. In his most recent regular season he only hauled in 39 catches and only found the end zone one time.

Cruz has had his moments of glory wearing blue, and if he were to come back, he has a long resume to show why he deserves another shot. That being said, there are so many negatives around Cruz that lead many Giants fans to believe that Cruz will be salsa-ing into the sunset by the time the new season starts.
