Number Three: Osi Umenyiora (2003-14)

Osi Umenyiora was one of the Giants most valuable pass rushers when he became a part of the team in 2003. He was not even invited to the NFL Draft Combine but was drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

The Troy University product was quiet his first two years in the NFL, but then broke out in 2005. He was named an All-Pro and was invited to the Pro Bowl after recording 14.5 sacks and 70 tackles.

Two years later Umenyiora was an integral piece of the Giants defense that took down the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. He was also a part of the Giants 2011-12 Super Bowl winning team as well.

Injuries plagued Umenyiora most of his career, but the biggest one was when he suffered cartilage damage knee in a preseason game against the Jets in 2011. He had season-ending surgery, and would not be the same again.

Umenyiora was a dynamic player throughout his career, and it shows, as he ranks fourth on the Giants all-time sack list with 75. He ranks just behind Leonard Marshall, Lawrence Taylor, and Michael Strahan.
