Number Four: Justin Tuck (2005-15)

Finally getting into the recent years of the Giants. Justin Tuck came on strong after being drafted out of Notre Dame and was a part of one of the best defenses the Giants ever had.

He was projected as a first round talent but was not taken until the 74th pick in 2005 NFL Draft. His first year was rather underwhelming, but then 2007-08 was when Tuck became an NFL talent.

He recorded 65 tackles, 10 sacks, and two forced fumbles in the regular season. He was put into a NASCAR speed rushing formation with Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, and Mathias Kiwanuka.

Tuck’s best game in that year came on the NFL’s biggest stage. A record-setting audience watched as the Giants defense rendered Tom Brady and the undefeated Patriots offense almost useless. In the game, he recorded two sacks and one forced fumble, leading most fans to believe he was a frontrunner for Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.

Tuck had a great career with the Giants, and topped it off with his second ring in 2011-12.  He finished his career wearing Blue with 309 tackles, 60.5 sacks, and 20 forced fumbles. Tuck will one day do his signature bow on the stage in Canton, Ohio.
