Throughout the course of New York Giants history, there has been a number defensive lineman that have dominated the league both inside and out. From the 1920s up until this past season, the “Big Blue Wrecking Crew” have been notorious for their strong rush defense.

Heading into this offseason the Giants front office is getting ready to re-sign defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul to a long-term contract. Giants fans everywhere have thought that Pierre-Paul could be the next player in the long line of great Giants pass rushers.

The Giants put together another dominant group of defensive lineman this season along with Pierre-Paul, signing Olivier Vernon and Damon Harrison to go alongside Johnathan Hankins as well. Could we one day put them in the discussion of the best defensive lineman in Giants history?
