New York Giants: Quarterback Power Rankings for NFC Playoffs

2.) Aaron Rodgers
It was an up-and-down season for the Green Bay Packers in 2016. There were a lot of injuries which factored in, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers also wasn’t on his game for a decent chunk of the season. However, over the past month and a half, no team has been hotter than the Packers.
This season, Rodgers has totaled 4,428 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions. As the Packers have started to play well, so has Rodgers. In the last six games, Rodgers has totaled 15 passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. With his team nearly on the brink of having their playoff hopes end, Rodgers has played excellent.
In the last game of the season, Rodgers was at his best against the Detroit Lions. With the NFC North on the line, Rodgers was able to have a great game against the Packers rival. In the win, Rodgers totaled 300 passing yards and four touchdowns.
While being one of the hottest teams in football has led many to pick the Packers to win the NFC, the experience of Rodgers in the playoffs is also a good thing. In 13 playoff starts, Rodgers has a 7-6 record, 27 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
Having Rodgers second on the list was a tough call, as he could arguably be the best quarterback in the NFC this season.
