9. Miami Dolphins

A common theme with the teams near the bottom is quarterback play/healthy and it will continue with the Dolphins. Like the teams before them, they have problems under center with starter Ryan Tannehill injured. Unlike the teams before them, the Dolphins are confident in who they have in Matt Moore.

Moore played well in his three starts, leading the Dolphins to a 2-1 record and helping clinch a postseason berth. He completed 63.4 percent of his passes in those starts, throwing eight touchdowns to three interceptions. The Dolphins also have a strong running game headed by Jay Ajayi to lean on to help Moore.

Unfortunately for the Dolphins they have a very giving defense. Miami gave up the fourth most yards and 23.8 points per game, which ranked 18th in the NFL. They were middle of the road defending the pass, but got ripped apart on the ground; that could spell trouble against the Steelers and Le’Veon Bell, arguably the best running back in the NFL.

The Dolphins have some confidence heading into the game as they defeated the Steelers in Week 6. That was the game Ben Roethlisberger got injured in. Also working against the Dolphins was that game was in Miami; this time they will be in Pittsburgh where the temperature could drop into the teens.
