10. Houston Texans

The Texans are in the postseason in large part because they play in arguably the worst division in any sport. On the back of their 5-1 record, the Texans have won their division and qualified for the playoffs. Despite having a home game, they are arguably the weakest team in the postseason in large part because of their quarterback situation.

Brock Osweiler has been a huge bust in his first season as the starter. He was benched during Week 15, as Tom Savage came on in relief and led a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Savage started the next two games before suffering a concussion. He is in the NFL’s concussion protocol and will miss the Wild Card game, putting Osweiler back under center.

The one thing the Texans do have going for them is that their defense is very strong, especially at home. They give up 16.6 points per game at NRG Stadium and went 7-1 there in the regular season.

Even without J.J. Watt leading the charge the Texans defense could get them a victory in Wild Card weekend. Jadeveon Clowney has put some injuries behind him and is finally looking like the No.1 overall pick the Texans had hoped he would be when they selected him in 2014.

The Texans will also be getting back starting running back Lamar Miller, who sat out the final two games of the regular season. He should help take some pressure off Osweiler offensively.
