The Charlotte Hornets face the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center on December 26th, 2016. Here is all the information you will need to watch the game.

The Charlotte Hornets make their second trip of the season to the Barclays Center to face the Brooklyn Nets. The Hornets won the first matchup this season, picking up a 99-95 win. They come into this game riding some momentum.

The Hornets are bringing a three-game winning streak with them to Brooklyn. They have a 17-14 record and are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The Nets come into this matchup on yet another losing streak.

The Nets are currently on a five-game losing streak; it is their second losing streak of at least five games already this season. They have a record of 7-22 and are tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia 76ers. Things have not gone well for the Nets recently.

More from Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn has only two victories in December as their schedule has been brutal. They just finished a three-game stretch against three of the best teams in the NBA in the Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Things won’t get much easier against the Hornets before heading on the road to face the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.

One thing the Nets will have working for them this time around against the Hornets is that Jeremy Lin is back in the lineup. Lin missed the first matchup because of a hamstring injury but has since returned.

He will have some extra motivation tonight as he spent the last season with the Hornets and put together a strong season. It landed him in Brooklyn on a three-year, $38.3 million deal.
