Breno Giacomini
2017 Cap Hit: $5,125,000
Cap Penalty: $625,000

The offensive line has become a liability for the New York Jets especially at both tackle positions. After missing the beginning of the season, Giacomini only started five games this season before finding himself back on the injured reserve list.

Even when he played, his struggles in pass protection where noticeable. Next season, Giacomini will be 32 years old and will be a cap hit hit just over $ 5 Million.

While the Jets would incur a $625,000 hit by cutting him, his regression in play coupled with his recent injury problems makes it hard to imagine New York would bring him back next year. The Jets need answers on the offensive line, and Giacomini isn’t one of them.
