Dak Prescott

When the Giants played the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, it was thought that Dak Prescott was just keeping the position warm for Tony Romo. Since then, Romo has been cleared to play, but it is now Prescott’s job due to his success.

So far this season, Prescott has totaled 2,974 passing yards, 19 touchdown passes, and just two interceptions. Protecting the ball has been Prescott’s greatest ability as a quarterback so far in his young career.

In Week 1 against the Giants, Prescott actually had a career-high in pass attempts with 45. Due to the great rookie season from Ezekiel Elliott, Prescott hasn’t had to come close to that number since.

While Prescott has been a great passer for the Cowboys, we saw a different side of him against the Minnesota Vikings. In Minnesota, Prescott was very effective scrambling with the football. In the win, Prescott used his legs a few times to make big plays for the Cowboys offense. On Sunday, the Giants must be aware of Prescott’s ability to take off and run with the football for large chunks of yards.
