– Not so Lucky

After missing the Colts’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thanksgiving, Andrew Luck returned on a mission in Week 13. Luck was forced to sit out on Thanksgiving due to a concussion. However, after clearing the protocol, he looked great against the Jets.

As one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Luck was poised to have a good game against the poor Jets defense. On Monday, Luck did just that. In the win, Luck totaled 278 passing yards and four touchdowns. The scary thing was that Luck could have done even more damage to the Jets.

Just prior to halftime, the Colts were driving on the Jets once again. Tight end Jack Doyle made a good effort to reach the goal line, however, he fumbled the ball when hit for a touchback. If Doyle would have scored on the play, or even just went out of bounds, Luck might have had another touchdown.

Seeing a quarterback like Luck torch the Jets had to be a painful thing for the fans in the stands. For years now, the Jets have been searching for their answer at the quarterback position. However, it doesn’t appear like a Luck-type quarterback is going to be in New York anytime soon.
