On Monday Night Football in Week 13, the Colts vs Jets matchup was an utter disappointment. What were five takeaways from the game?

In NFL Week 13, the Colts vs Jets matchup turned out to be a poor one on Monday Night Football. Coming into the game, the Jets were actually slightly favored by sportsbooks. However, it was obvious early one that this was going to be an ugly game.

To start the game, the Colts jumped the Jets early, as they took a 14-0 lead on their first two offensive possessions. Despite the Colts having some travel issues, the Jets looked like the team that had a hard time getting to the game.

Due to the AFC South being close, the Colts had a lot to play for on Monday night. They came out like a team that needed a win, and the Jets looked like a team that has given up on the season. The lack of effort from the Jets from start to finish was really disappointing to watch. The fans that did show up to the game let their voices be heard early and often with plenty of boos for New York.

The loss moves the Jets to 3-9 on the season. Now that they are officially eliminated from the playoffs, the team is going in a new direction. The organization seemed hesitant to start Bryce Petty, but it will be his chance to shine for the final four games of the season.
