New York Giants: Who Are Five Players to Watch vs Pittsburgh Steelers?
By Nick Ziegler
Antonio Brown
There are a lot of talented players on both the Steelers and Giants. One of the best is wide receiver, Antonio Brown. Many believe that Brown is the best wide receiver in the NFL. With Odell Beckham Jr. on the other team this week, these two will surely be trying to prove something to the other.
This season, Brown has totaled 82 receptions, 998 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns. Brown will certainly reach 1,000 receiving yards on Sunday, but the Giants will hope he doesn’t total too much more than that.
The Steelers wide receiver corps has been a bit banged up this season. Due to that, Brown has been targeted heavily by Roethlisberger. On Thanksgiving, Brown totaled three receiving touchdowns, as he can hurt you from anywhere on the field.
On Sunday, Brown will likely be seeing a lot of Janoris Jenkins. While no cornerback can shut Brown down completely, it is all about keeping him in front of you. Jenkins recently did a very good job against A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Giants will hope Jenkins can hold his own against Brown, as the talent on the Steelers makes it hard to double-team players. If Jenkins finds a way to limit the damage done by Brown, the Giants will be well-positioned to win.
