Le’Veon Bell

After being suspended for the first three games of the season, Le’Veon Bell has been great for the Steelers this season. As arguably one of the best running backs in the NFL, Bell is certainly playing like it for the Steelers this year.

In 2016, Bell has totaled 699 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, 57 receptions, 437 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. The Steelers line Bell up all over in their offense and the Giants will have to be prepared to cover him while he plays wide receiver as well.

The past two weeks, Bell has been the workhorse for the Steelers offense. Against the Cleveland Browns, Bell totaled 146 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, eight receptions, and 55 receiving yards. On Thanksgiving, Bell was excellent again, as he totaled 120 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown against the Colts.

Bell is no stranger to touching the ball 30 times a game, and the Giants must do all they can to stop him. The run defense of the Giants is much-improved this season, and they will need to stand tall against Bell.

If the Steelers are able to find success on the ground, their offense becomes unstoppable. There are a lot of weapons to worry about, but stopping Bell should be the No.1 priority of the Giants defense.
