The New York Giants will be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon. Who are five players to watch?

In Week 13, there are few better matchups than the New York Giants against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With both teams in the playoff hunt, this game will be very important for both.

For the Giants, they will be entering Pittsburgh with a six-game winning streak. However, the level of competition has not been all that good. Recent games against the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns have caused some unrest in New York. Despite winning both games, the Giants didn’t look all that spectacular for long stretches. Against a team like the Steelers, the Giants will have to be on their game for four quarters.

In those wins, the Giants let both teams hang around for far too long. If they do the same in Pittsburgh, their winning streak could easily be snapped.

After some injuries to key players to start the season, the Steelers find themselves behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. Coming into Sunday, the Steelers have the main weapons healthy, and they will challenge an improved Giants defense.

Due to the Dallas Cowboys playing so well, the Giants might have to settle for a Wild Card spot this season. This will be the beginning of a challenging part of the schedule for the Giants. Even though they are 8-3, their playoff spot is far from guaranteed with big games coming up.

Here are five players to watch for Sunday’s showdown between the Giants and Steelers.
