New York Giants vs Cleveland Browns: 5 Players To Watch
Terrelle Pryor
The Browns are void of much talent throughout their roster. But they did find a diamond in the rough with Pryor. The quarterback-turned-wide receiver has been one of the lone bright spots for the Browns this season.
Pryor has seemingly come out of nowhere as a receiving talent. He made some rare appearances for the Browns last season, the first NFL action he saw since 2012 when he was the quarterback for the Oakland Raiders. He put in the work during the offseason and turned himself into a legitimate threat on the outside.
On the season Pryor has 56 receptions for 724 yards and four touchdowns. He has been held back by poor quarterback play but he has had some big games. He caught a touchdown working against Josh Norman and absolutely torched Darrelle Revis in their matchup. He has outstanding size at 6-feet-4 inches and is supremely athletic.
The task of slowing down Pryor will fall upon Janoris Jenkins more often than not. Jenkins has had success taking the opponent’s top option at wide receiver out of the game this season, as only one wide receiver has gone for over 100 yards against the Giants this season; Randall Cobb for 108 yards in Week 5.
The Giants have to watch out for Pryor contributing in other ways. He also has a passing touchdown this season and is a threat in the wildcat in certain packages.
