The New York Rangers face the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on November 15th, 2016. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.
The New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks will be facing off for the second time and final time for the season tonight. The first matchup was a shocker, as the Canucks pulled off a shocking 5-3 victory. The Canucks entered that game on a nine-game losing streak, while the Rangers were had won eight of their nine games heading into that contest.
The Rangers have since started another winning streak. They won their next two games following the loss to the Canucks, and are now 12-4-0 on the season with 24 points. The Canucks have split the two games since the last meeting and have a record of 6-9-1 with 13 points.
The Rangers will be without some key players tonight. Forwards Chris Kreider and Pavel Buchnevich will both miss the game. Kreider is dealing with a lower-body injury, while Buchnevich has back spasms.
Coach Alain Vigneault gave an update on Buchnevich but didn’t have anything to say about Kreider. “He is in the process right now of going through the evaluation,” Vigneault said. “I am hoping in the next 48 hours we should have an update.”

Cristoval Nieves was called up in a corresponding move and will play on the fourth line in his NHL debut.
The Canucks will be making some changes to their lineup as well, albeit not because of injury. The Canucks will shuffle their first two lines, with Markus Granlund moving into the second line center spot, which was vacated by Brandon Sutter. Sutter has been moved to first-line right wing with Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin.
That was the combination that the Canucks used in their come from behind victory over the Dallas Stars Sunday. “We needed to get something going so we went back to that combination,” coach Willie Desjardins said. “We had him there early last year and I liked that combination. We just got beat up so badly in the middle last year we had to take him out of it because of that. It’s not just that line, maybe we can get something out of Eriksson and Granlund together as well.”
Will that line find the same success against the Rangers? Or will the Rangers exact some revenge and split the season series with the Canucks? We will have to tune in to find out. Here is all the information you need to watch the game tonight.
