This was an intriguing unit coming into the season. Odell Beckham Jr. is the star but the Giants finally looked to find him some help. Sterling Shepard was selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft and Victor Cruz was returning from injury.

While Beckham Jr. still dominates the targets he has received some help. Manning is no longer solely relying on Beckham Jr. and other players are providing some production. Roger Lewis Jr., an undrafted free agent, has caught a touchdown in two of the last three games. Shepard has had a good, not great, rookie season with 34 receptions for 384 yards and three touchdowns. He started the season hot but cooled in recent weeks prior to scoring last week.

Cruz injured his ankle against the Philadelphia Eagles Week 9 but was healthy other than that. He caught a touchdown Week 1 but has gone scoreless since. He has struggled with drops at points, but it has been nice to see him back on the field in any capacity.

Beckham Jr. found his way into the headlines for the wrong reasons earlier in the season. People questioned his ability to reel in his emotions and had a love affair with the kicking net. He has shown the ability to tune out those outsiders and concentrate on the field. He leads the team with 44 receptions for 676 yards and five touchdowns. He is a legitimate difference maker and a weapon the Giants need to utilize as often as possible.
