Eli Manning

The Eagles have been arguably the toughest opponent for Eli Manning in his career. He has his worst divisional record against the Eagles and worst completion percentage at 58 percent. If the Giants are going to remain in the playoff picture, they will need Manning to shake his prior performances against the Eagles and get things on track at home.

Manning has had an up-and-down season as the Giants offense as a whole has been worse than expected. Without a running game to speak of a lot of pressure falls on Manning. He will have his hands full against the Eagles, who rank 3rd overall in pass defense this season.

The Eagles are allowing 214 yards per game through the air and a completion percentage of 57.3. He will have to get the ball out of his hands quickly as the Eagles can get after the quarterback. They have 22 tackles, tied for third most in the NFL.

It would make sense for the Giants to get Manning going early with quick hitters to get into a rhythm early. It would be a good replacement for the lackluster running game and neutralize a strong Eagles pass defense.
