The New York Rangers face the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on October 28th, 2016. Here is all the information you will need to watch the game.

The New York Rangers will be traveling to take on the Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers enter the game with a record of 5-2-0 and 10 points, good enough for second in the Metropolitan Division. The Hurricanes have a record of 1-3-2 and four points and are in last place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Rangers come into the game riding a hot streak. They are on a three-game winning streak, defeating the Washington Capitals, Arizona Coyotes, and Boston Bruins. The Rangers have the better record, but they will be facing an excited Hurricanes crowd tonight.

This will be the first home game for the Hurricanes this season. It is a much-anticipated home opener, as the Hurricanes started the season on a lengthy road trip. The road trip didn’t go well as you can see with their record, so they will be happy to be back in front of their home fans.

The Hurricanes aren’t as bad as their record may suggest. They lost two games in overtime and failed to hold onto late leads. “We will fix it,” coach Bill Peters said. “We’re scoring, but we’re reckless when we’re scoring. Right now it’s not clicking. It’s not clicking for 60 minutes.”

More from New York Rangers

It will be a difficult task to defeat the Rangers, who have started the season as one of the best teams in the NHL. They are expected to have Henrik Lundqvist in the lineup for a fifth consecutive game. Pavel Buchnevich will return to the lineup and replace Josh Jooris, who suffered a separated shoulder.

The Rangers will also be without Chris Kreider, who will miss his third consecutive game. He suffered neck spasms against the Capitals last weekend and is still bothered by them.

The Hurricanes are expected to have left winger Jeff Skinner back in the lineup after missing one game. Klas Dahlbeck will also return after a one-game absence as a healthy scratch against the Detroit Red Wings. Cam Ward will be in goal, the first time he is making back-to-back starts this season.
