Brooklyn Nets. 29. team. 147. . .

The Brooklyn Nets will continue to play little brother to the Knicks, who garner the bright lights on 34th Street.

Center Brook Lopez, guard Jeremy Lin and homegrown talent Isaiah Whitehead will bring flair to a 25-win season. There’s some intrigue surrounding the 2013 No. 1 overall pick, Anthony Bennett. Will head coach Kenny Atkinson unlock his potential as a formidable asset in this league?

As for the star players, it’s going to become the Lopez-Lin show with other role players trying to find their niche within the rotation. First-round pick Caris LeVert remains a mystery due to his recovery from a foot injury. However, his upside could add firepower on the offensive side and defensive capabilities at three positions.

Brooklyn will finish at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, but supporters will fill the Barclays Center hoping to see the second wave of Linsanity in New York City.

Fantasy Tip: We’re already aware of Lin’s scoring ability. He’ll start the season as the primary ball-handler, which means he’s going to dole out more assists than usual early in the year. He’ll have a high usage rate on a team with very little established talent, which makes him a decent mid-round choice in points-based leagues.
