The fantasy football season is now in its sixth week, as owners are beginning to set their eyes on the playoffs. What can we expect from Odell Beckham Jr. this week?

It is has been a disappointing 2016 season so far for New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Fantasy football owners who took Beckham early in the first round are certainly not happy with his level of production compared to other star wide receivers like Julio Jones or Antonio Brown.

So far this season, Beckham has totaled 27 receptions, 359 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. In his last game, Beckham was able to score his first touchdown of the season against the Green Bay Packers, but he only totaled five receptions in a good matchup. Due to the Packers being without their two starting cornerbacks, many believed Beckham would finally deliver for his fantasy owners.

The struggles of Eli Manning isn’t helping Beckham this season, but he has also contributed to the team’s woes on offense. The matchup against the Ravens will be a challenging one for Beckham, but we all know he is capable of beating any cornerback in the NFL. In Week 6, Beckham will likely draw the attention of Jimmy Smith for most of the game. Smith is a pretty solid cornerback, and he is used to playing elite wide receivers like Antonio Brown and A.J. Green in his division.

Despite the Ravens being ranked well against quarterbacks in fantasy football, they are ranked 20th in points allowed to wide receivers. Due to the somewhat favorable matchup for Beckham, he might be able to produce for fantasy owners a bit more than expected against the Ravens.

The Giants are in desperate need for a win on Sunday, and that means they’ll need good games from Manning and Beckham. After a solid week in Green Bay, Beckham will continue to find his groove in 2016.

Projection: Eight receptions, 110 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown.
