New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins: 5 Realistic Predictions
Odell Beckham Logs Fewer Than 100 Receiving Yards
Odell Beckham versus Josh Norman Round 2 part one should be electrifying. Two competitive players who’ve chatted back and forth through the media finally square off on the field. Hopefully, it’s not the type of battle witnessed during the season last year.
To increase the drama, Norman will shadow Beckham throughout the game except when he’s in the slot, per ESPN reporter Britt McHenry via ESPN.com.
Norman isn’t likely to completely shut down Beckham. Despite a poor start, the Giants wideout finished with six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown against his nemesis last year.
This year, Beckham shares the field with two other talented wideouts, who could take the offensive load off his shoulders. The Giants’ probability of earning a third consecutive victory doesn’t hinge upon their star receiver winning his individual matchup against Norman.
Quarterback Eli Manning will likely spread his targets among the top three wide receivers and two tight ends.
