Free agency is a crazy time for players and teams, with a lot of moving parts. One of the parts of the revamped Giants defense is Keenan Robinson, a linebacker that the Giants signed away from the Redskins.

Robinson played the first four years of his career with the Redskins, experiencing some highs, such as winning the division twice, and lows, finishing last twice. He caused a little stir this week when talking about his former team, saying, “Once they [Redskins] get down, they start pointing fingers. And that is true. That is what happens.”

It didn’t draw much attention with his former teammates, as some had to be told about what Robinson said. Regardless of if they heard it or not, Robinson has amped up his expectations a bit against his old team.

While it wasn’t exactly bulletin board material, there will undoubtedly still be some people that take notice and use it as motivation Sunday afternoon. Robinson will also want to show his old team that they made a mistake letting him leave as a free agent and should play with some extra added motivation.
