– Darrelle Revis

On Thursday night, all eyes will be on cornerback Darrelle Revis. Even though most players hate the short week, it comes at a good time for Revis. After being torched by A.J. Green, Revis has been heavily criticized in New York.

There has been plenty of memes and headlines that have been about the end of Revis Island, and that can’t go unnoticed. Revis will have an opportunity to prove to the NFL that he is still indeed an elite cornerback on Thursday night.

The matchup between Revis and Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins has a few interesting storylines. Due to a foot injury, Watkins is questionable for the game on Thursday, but he has said that he will be playing.

If Watkins plays, Revis will have an opportunity to avenge a poor Week 17 against him last season. The Jets need Revis to be better than he was in Week 1, and it will be interesting to see how he responds.
