– Potential breakout star

In 2015, wide receiver Quincy Enunwa was able to show signs that he belonged as part of the offense for the Jets. His unique size and speed give the Jets a lot of different ways to utilize him, and we saw that in Week 1.

Enunwa was seen lining up all over the place for the Jets’ offense, and the results were good. In the loss, Enunwa totaled seven receptions, 54 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. On a team with Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, it is shocking to see that Enunwa totaled more receptions than both of them combined.

The amount of attention that Decker and Marshall will receive from a defense will continue to present Enunwa with favorable matchups. The Jets didn’t seem shy to give him the ball, as he was targeted eight times by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Finally, this could be a sign of things to come for Enunwa, who is emerging as a breakout player for the Jets in 2016.
