Week 14: At San Francisco 49ers

In a rare blowout game, the Jets travel west to square off against the San Francisco 49ers, who have an offensive guru as a head coach but subpar offensive talent.

At this point, quarterback Colin Kaepernick may see the field unless the front office plans on icing him throughout the season. Whether it’s Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert, the Jets shut down the passing attack and hold running back Carlos Hyde under 100 rushing yards.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 38, 49ers 13

Record: 7-6

Week 15: Vs. Miami Dolphins

The Jets battle the Dolphins in another contest decided by fewer than seven points. New York splits the season series with a home victory against an improved Dolphins team under Gase.

Expect a duel between wideout Jarvis Landry and Revis throughout the game. After watching tape of the first matchup, the Jets tweak the passing attack to put the cornerbacks on an island against Marshall and Decker.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 27, Dolphins 21

Record: 8-6
