Week 12: Vs. New England Patriots

Unfortunately, the Jets don’t play against New England Patriots backup signal-caller Jimmy Garoppolo. Instead, they draw an angry Tom Brady on a mission with fire in his pupils.

Typically, the Jets match up evenly with the Patriots, which probably continues in the upcoming season. However, New England finishes with a victory. Tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett take advantage of a young linebacker corps and safety Calvin Pryor, who’s still improving as a pass defender.

Prediction: Loss

Score: Jets 24, Patriots 28

Record: 5-6

Week 13: Vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Jets still match up well against the Indianapolis Colts. Last year, Gang Green totally shut down the Colts offense on Monday Night Football. A subpar offensive line will land quarterback Andrew Luck in trouble against the Jets’ defensive line in Week 13.

Indianapolis’ aged defense will stumble against an offensive predicated on precise timing on routes and high-percentage throws. The Jets crush the Colts at home to reach .500 again.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 33, Colts 20

Record: 6-6

Next: Weeks 14 and 15
