Week 7: Vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Jets return to their winning ways with a much-needed victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Wideouts Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker will feast on the Ravens’ deteriorating secondary. Veteran Eric Weddle doesn’t provide enough to keep the Jets receivers out of the end zone.

The Jets linebackers may struggle with multiple tight ends sets, but the ground attack won’t provide enough balance to keep the offense flowing throughout the contest.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 27, Ravens 19

Record: 3-4

Week 8: At Cleveland Browns

Forte will finish with 100-plus yards from scrimmage after dominating the Browns’ inexperienced front seven as ball-carrier and receiver. Fitzpatrick’s short accurate throws should dissect Cleveland’s defense with several mini daggers throughout the game.

The New York Sack Exchange should find ways to put pressure on Robert Griffin III, which limits Josh Gordon’s effectiveness on deep routes.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 30, Browns 14

Record: 4-4
