Week 3: At Kansas City Chiefs

The Jets travel to Kansas City to play a team without its No. 1 cornerback and best pass-rusher from the previous season. Cornerback Sean Smith signed with the Oakland Raiders and Justin Houston landed on the physically unable to perform list with a knee injury.

The Jets will focus on stopping the run while Revis blankets wideout Jeremy Maclin on the perimeter. New York wins a conservative battle against Kansas City.

Prediction: Win

Score: Jets 24, Chiefs 21

Record: 2-1

Week 4: Vs. Seattle Seahawks

Traveling back home, the Jets meet an NFC juggernaut in the Seattle Seahawks. The Legion of Boom will dare Fitzpatrick to throw over their heads and find success in defending the intermediate passing attack.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will scramble around the field to complete several passes to receivers maintaining pass route discipline. Seattle convincingly wins this contest on the road.

Prediction: Loss

Score: Jets 14, Seahawks 26

Record: 2-2
