Week 10: Vs Cincinnati Bengals
Tight end Tyler Eifert will return to the lineup between Weeks 4-6. By then, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton should feel comfortable with the new weapons at wide receiver.
Bengals pass-rusher Carlos Dunlap will wreak havoc off the edge to shorten Manning’s time in the pocket, which disrupts his rhythm with his receivers. Cincinnati wins a close game on the road.
Prediction: Loss
Score: Giants 21, Bengals 26
Record: 6-3
Week 11: Vs Chicago Bears
The Bears’ ground attack may outperform the passing game due to running back Jeremy Langford taking carries behind two Pro Bowl-caliber guards.
However, the Bears secondary looks suspect with the coaching staff putting pressure on their No. 1 cornerback, Kyle Fuller, to force more turnovers. The Bears lack confidence in their pass defense, and the Giants wideouts will take advantage. Expect Pierre-Paul and Vernon to show up big against the Bears’ average and subpar offensive tackles.
Prediction: Win
Score: Giants 28, Bears 17
Record: 7-3
Next: Weeks 12 and 13
