Week 7: At Los Angeles Rams

Surprisingly, the Giants won’t blow out the Los Angeles Rams due to head coach Jeff Fisher’s ability to slow the game pace and pressure Manning with defensive tackle Aaron Donald and defensive end Robert Quinn.

Nonetheless, the Giants pull out a close low-scoring victory on the road against the Rams’ inept offense. Defensive tackle Damon Harrison will limit running back Todd Gurley to fewer than 100 yards on the ground. The linebackers will also help out in run defense without a viable receiving threat at tight end.

Prediction: Win

Score: Giants 17, Rams 10

Record: 5-2

Week 9: Vs Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles decided to start Wentz early, which dims the team’s outlook on the 2016 season. As expected, the rookie signal-caller will make mistakes, and the Giants offense takes advantage with Beckham and Shepard as he steadily improves throughout the season.

Philadelphia fields an impressive front seven, but the back end struggles to contain Beckham over the top. The Giants thrash the Eagles in their first meeting at home.

Prediction: Win

Score: Giants 34, Eagles 7

Record: 6-2
