Week 5: At Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers simply field too many weapons to handle with quarterback Aaron Rodgers pulling the strings. Wideout Jordy Nelson returns to action and running back Eddie Lacy shed weight during the offseason to revert to pre-2015 form.

The Packers offense overwhelms the Giants secondary, and pass-rusher Clay Matthews finds success against the  Giants’ shaky offensive tackles. New York’s offense will look impressive but doesn’t compare to Green Bay’s unit with Rodgers, Nelson and Lacy performing on a high level at home.

Prediction: Loss

Score: Giants 20, Packers 34

Record: 3-2

Week 6: Vs Baltimore Ravens

No one fears the Ravens anymore. Pass-rusher Terrell Suggs comes off another significant injury. Furthermore, the team doesn’t have an offensive identity with new assets at wideout and running back.

Beckham should embarrass the secondary and Shepard will begin to show signs of steady improvement. Defensive ends Jason Pierre-Paul and Olivier Vernon each log at least one sack against a weakened offensive line.

Prediction: Win

Score: Giants 27, Ravens 24

Record: 4-2
