It was not a good day for quarterback Geno Smith at Jets camp on Tuesday. Smith was seen visibly frustrated with his throws and his ability to handle snaps.

It has not been an easy summer for Smith, as he went from the starting quarterback to the backup when the Jets signed Ryan Fitzpatrick. Stress and frustration might be getting the best of Smith as he tries to be perfect.
Smith had some good moments and bad moments in the preseason opener. There were a few really poor throws, but he was able to throw a touchdown pass to Charone Peake. Week 2 of the preseason will be another important game for Smith with Bryce Petty playing pretty well behind him.
Since the Jets have four quarterbacks on the roster, one can become easily expendable before the start of the season. If the Jets do part ways with Smith, he needs to play well to impress other teams to give him a shot.
