No.4 Sam Bradford

Bradford was brought in by the Eagles last season to run Chip Kelly’s spread option offense. He was a poor fit for that scheme, as he is not a threat running the ball. But, he still cashed in this offseason, re-signing with the Eagles on a massive two-year, $35 million with $22 million guaranteed.

While Bradford came away like a bandit in the offseason, it will not help him in these rankings. While he will be playing in a different system in 2016, as the Eagles hired Doug Pederson to be their head coach, Bradford has proven to be slightly above average at best.

While he was able to avoid the injury bug in 2015 compared to other seasons in his career, he still did miss two games. In the 14 games he played in, Bradford threw for 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He never fully looked comfortable in Kelly’s system, but he is in yet another uncomfortable situation this season.

The Eagles have their quarterback of the future in Wentz, and one of the best backup quarterbacks in Daniel. There is very little room for error for Bradford, who could be looking for a new place to play next season. That could motivate him to have a monster season, or he could be on the bench halfway through the season.

Of the teams in this division, Bradford also has the weakest group of wide receivers and playmakers, which will also make things difficult on his part.
