No. 4: Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah provides a strong locker room presence with playoff experience and unselfish play on the court. In a triangle offense that features judicious ball movement and spacing, he’s the perfect center to add into the mix. Noah averaged more than four assists per game in three of the previous four seasons.

Like Mahinmi, he’s not going to score a lot of points. Most of his buckets will happen on putbacks and hustle plays around the rim. The Knicks would also hope his body hasn’t taken too much abuse in nine years.

According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, the Knicks have an interest in reuniting Rose and Noah in New York. Chemistry shouldn’t be an issue between the two. Noah has always been a staunch Rose supporter through his difficult injury history:

Based on history with Rose, who’s set to start at point guard and the reported interest level, Noah seems like the most reasonable choice among free agent centers to join the Knicks in the summer.
