4. Houston Texans: Jonathan Joseph, CB

It’s well known that Jets GM Mike Maccagnan has ties with the Texans as he used to be their director of college scouting. So if there’s any chance Wilkerson could be traded, Houston would be a team the Jets are talking to. Sending Wilkerson to the Texans would give Houston the best 3-4 DE duo in the NFL by far since they already have super star defensive end in J.J. Watt.

Both players produced the most sacks as 3-4 defensive end, (not including Khalil Mack and Chandler Jones who both played a lot of snaps at linebacker) with Watt having 17.5 sacks while Wilkerson had 12.

While Joseph is 32 years old, he still had a solid season for the Texans last season and has only two years left on his contract. This gives the Jets enough time to find a dominant corner to pair with Revis while Joseph can be a great mentor to the team’s young corners.
