3. Yangervis Solarte

The ex-New York Yankee has found quite the niche for himself in San Diego. But besides from the best weather in the country, a fantastic zoo, and Ron Burgundy, the Padres don’t offer much in terms of entertaining things you can watch in October.

Now this pick might be a little high on the list, but I’ve factored in that Solarte is only 28-years-old, defensively excels at almost every position on the field, switch hits, and is only making $560,000 in 2016.

Solarte could also be the lead-off hitter the Mets so desperately need. Curtis Granderson has struck out 61 times, while only scoring 30 runs, and batting a miserable .218 with an even worse .316 OBP.

It doesn’t take a genius to see Granderson is not doing the job. HELLO, Terry Collins, please pick up the white courtesy phone! Solarte is currently batting .284 with a .383 on-base percentage. Ship ‘em Juan Lagares, Dilson Herrera, and call it a day.
