Noah Syndergaard of the New York Mets has embraced his nickname of Thor, and now he might be looking to make some money off of it.
One day after Noah Syndergaard propelled the New York Mets against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a good outing and two home runs, he turned his attention to becoming a movie star. In the extremely successful Thor and Avengers movies, actor Chris Hemsworth plays as Thor, but Syndergaard is gunning for his job.
Not too long ago, Syndergaard took to the streets of New York City dressed as Thor and looked like he would fit the part. Syndergaard has yet to get his pay day with the Mets, and the thought of being a movie star would certainly be good for Syndergaard’s wallet.
Dear @Marvel, check out my reel. You think it's time for a Thor reboot? Does @chrishemsworth do his own stunts? I dohttps://t.co/Ot1HUdC9K3

Until Marvel gets back to Syndergaard about a Thor reboot with him as the movie star, he will have to continue to be one of the most electrifying pitchers in baseball for the Mets. After a great rookie season, Syndergaard is performing even better for the Mets.
This season, Syndergaard has totaled a 3-2 record, 2.53 ERA, 55 strikeouts, and a 1.04 WHIP. The 23-year-old Syndergaard is not only becoming on of the best pitchers but a fan-favorite. His tough demeanor on the field has been paired with a fun attitude off of it, which has made him loved in New York.

The 6’6”, 250lb Syndergaard would certainly fit right in as Thor, and offering to do his own stunts makes the offer to Marvel that much more appealing. We will have to see what Syndergaard does next, but the young right-hander is certainly embracing his fun side with his recent tweet to Marvel.
