The NFL Draft is right around the corner for the New York Jets, and that means it’s time to figure out who the Jets will be taking with their five draft picks.

It wasn’t too long ago that the Jets had six picks in the 2016 NFL Draft, but a recent trade to acquire Ryan Clady cost the Jets a fifth-round pick. The move to acquire Clady was a great one by Mike Maccagnan, as the four-time Pro Bowl left tackle will be replacing D’Brickashaw Ferguson. The Jets were unlikely to find a starting left tackle in the draft without having to move up considerably, which makes using a fifth-round pick on Clady a great move.

Since our last mock draft, the Jets have still yet to sign Ryan Fitzpatrick, and their attentions have turned to possibly drafting a quarterback. Even if Fitzpatrick is re-signed, the Jets have to think towards the future at the position. The Jets inquired about moving all the way up to the first overall pick before the Los Angeles Rams eventually made the deal with the Tennessee Titans, but that may have tipped the hand of what the Jets are planning to do.

With the help of Fanspeak.com, here is a complete seven-round mock draft that was generated from their big board.
