Tony Wroten

Wroten was signed late in the season by the Knicks but did not take the court. He did not appear in a game with the Knicks in the regular season, and there were some people saying he would not even take part in practices.

He was brought on as a player the Knicks could evaluate throughout the summer as he continues to recover from knee surgery last season. He played in eight games with the 76ers this season, but was not himself.

The Knicks are giving him a chance to rehab and compete for a job next season. Wroten would bring athleticism that the Knicks lack at the point guard spot as someone that can attack the rim relentlessly. He could conceivably take over the combo role from Galloway if the Knicks let him walk, as he can play point guard but stands 6-feet-6 inches tall.

Wroten is supremely confident in himself, as he said that he would be the starting point guard for the Knicks next season when asked about his outlook with the team.
